Sam’s passion for people development and empowerment, coupled with her ability to
craft customised solutions that drive individual as well as business performance
has inspired her to establish Eureka!
- Her professional credentials include a Bachelors Degree majoring in Psychology &
Social Work as
well as a MBA qualification from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Sam’s
belief in coaching and
mentoring as a strategic leadership tool for the 21st century organization
has motivated her to
pursue a formal qualification as a Professional Business & Life Coach (Advanced
Mentor) through
the UNISA Institute For Organizational Development & Training in partnership
with the VIP Leadership & Strategic Coaching Institute.
- Prior to starting Eureka, Sam headed up talent management for the Liberty Group,
a leading African wealth management company. Here she was responsible for providing
integrated Group wide best practice advice, strategic guidelines, talent management
and leadership solutions regarding performance optimization issues as well as consulting
to the Group around the most critical resource – its talent pool. She also gained
extensive experience within the Staffing Solutions and Business Process Outsourcing
(BPO) industries, where she held various management roles. Sam was also involved
in leading investment promotion initiatives and project management for the contact
centre industry in KZN, as an employee of the Trade and Investment KZN team. Here,
she got in involved in forging strategic partnerships with government, private business
and other stakeholders in addressing skills development and unemployment.
